World birth war

D. Stan, M. Mitran

Rezumat: Childbirth... sacred for some, trivial for others. Some pregnant women regard it as a reason for joy, reunion and contentment, other as a turning point, moment of tension or they regard it with lack of consideration. What are we going to talk about in the following lines? About childbirth, in the way various people and religions approach it throughout the world (Helaine Selin - „Childbirth Across Cultures”). Nobody can state that there is no culture over the world where childbirth is at the same time safe for both mother and child and welcome as well. The best places in the world to give birth are there, where the persons assisting the mother, either family or medical staff, pay respect to the pain suffered during birth labours. The mother is helped in this way being offered the opportunity to choose the best means and methods, so that her childbirthing becomes smooth, even pleasant.
Cuvinte cheie: childbirth, culture, tradition, birth labours, pregnant.
