Rezumat: Tuberculosis (CTB), a disease that has become increasingly rare in the West, has an alarming spread in our country. Only in the first half of 2013 were nearly 8,500 people diagnosed with TB. Romania has already ranked the first place in the European Union regarding the number of cases of tuberculosis. When associated with HIV infection TB incidence increases by about 100 times, mothers and children being exposed to the same risk associated with HIV. The share of tuberculosis cases among perinatally exposed children to HIV in the analysis provided by INBI was 9.81%, representing 71.4% primary tuberculosis in all cases. CMDR-TB diagnosis and treatment costs are up to 100 times higher than drug sensitive TB.
Cuvinte cheie: tuberculosis, HIV, incidence.
