A rare case of omphalocele and trisomy 18

Rezumat: Omphalocele (exomphalos) is one of the most common abdominal wall defects. The most frequent chromosomal aberrations associated with omphalocele are trisomy 18 (22% to 89%) and trisomy 13. The purpose of this article is to present a case report and to discuss the approach to prenatal diagnosis and management of omphalocele associated with a genetic condition.
