Uterine carcinosarcoma – histological and immunohistochemical features

Rezumat: Uterine carcinosarcoma is a biphasic tumor, with an epithelial and mesenchymal component, that has been included in the last WHO classification of female genital tumors in the endometrial carcinoma category. We conducted a retrospective study, including hysterectomy specimens with the diagnosis of carcinosarcoma.
