D.I. Voicu, O.M. Bodean, O. Munteanu, L.V. Arsene, C. Boieru, E. Bratila, M.M. Cîrstoiu

Rezumat: Thrombophilia characterizes a series of hypercoagulable states that predispose to the formation of intravascular thrombosis resulting from a hereditary and/or acquired predisposition and are based on changes in co a gu lation equilibrium. Approximately 50% of venous throm bo em bolism that occurs in pregnancy has thrombo phi lia as substrate. This condition remains an im portant cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. This study observed a strong association between thrombo phi lia and recurrent spontaneous abortions.
Cuvinte cheie: thrombophilia, pregnancy, abortion, coagulation.
