Fiberglass post direct coronal restoration in pregnancy - case report

Rezumat: Among the dental treatments that are required during the pregnancy period, clinical situations in which the pregnant woman presents massive coronary destruction of various etiology occupy an important place. Because of its advantages, the armed odontal direct restauration represents one of the most used techniques. The restoration of the coronal dental structure using fiberglass posts and resin composites has clinical advantages in terms of: one session dental treatment; very good stability and longevity of the restoration in the oral cavity; low incidence of root fractures due to the anchorage post; very good mechanical strength; aesthetically appropriate aspect.
