L. Luchian, B. Luchian, B. Marinescu

Rezumat: Ovulation induction is the first line of treatment for infertility in women diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and with no other cause of infertility. Clomiphene citrate is the most frequently used pharmacological agent. A prospective study was conducted to evaluate different ovulation induction agents (clomiphene citrate, letrozole, recombinant FSH) outcomes in 60 patients diagnosed with this syndrome. The study showed similar results from letrozole and clomiphene citrate in ovulation induction and pregnancy, but recombinant FSH had the best results.
Cuvinte cheie: monoovulation, polycystic ovary syndrome, pregnancy.
